Approval Numbers

As is to be expected, Trump has declared any poll showing negative results to be fake news while having Sean Spicer praise a Rasmussen Poll for showing a positive result.  Thing is, Rasmussen is well known for having a definitive Republican/Conservative bias and can not be taken as being entirely accurate.


Killer Thug

Trump has become the apologist-in-chief for Vladimir Putin.  He tried to say there was no moral difference between the USA and Putin's Russia.  This is so patently false, such a huge lie,that it boggles the mind that he could even say this.  And to force a decent man like Vice-President Pence (whom I disagree with on several issues but still believe he is a man of integrity and who tries with all of his heart, mind, strength and soul to be a truly good and decent person) to defend such outrageous lies shows what type of person Trump really is.  I applaud Senator Sasse of Nebraska for speaking out so forcefully and clearly against what Trump has said.

Bone Chilling Tweet

While some have called Dean Obeidallah's description over the top and overly dramatic, which it would be when taken by itself, it is in fact not when taken in its entire context.  He makes an excellent case for his use of such terminology and one should read his editorial.  He is unabashedly liberal and makes no bones about that but he does an excellent job of connecting the dots.  One may disagree with him but one can not say he is engaging in histrionics.

Not Being Looped In

As a J D /Rucker at Redstate points out, Steve Bannon may have been pulling the strings so far.  As he points out, it seems Trump has not properly briefed on the executive orders he is signing, which is frightening, if true.  It is all the more frightening when one considers he is unelected and did not have to approved by the Senate.  It is worth reading his entry:
