Our 40th Show focused on Hugo Chavez and his legacy, as well as North Korea.  One caller tried to say because Chavez had been democratically elected,initially, that he was never a dictator.  This despite the evidence to the contrary.  The same caller tried to say that any thing bad/negative said about Chavez was nothing more than USA propaganda even though the preponderance of evidence to the contrary.  The same caller also tried to say the CIA was behind the attempted coup despite a lack of evidence.

Our first show of 2013 had a special guest, James from the Parlimentary Party.  It was fascinating as the goal is to get the various 3rd parties to work together and, as a result, have more clout.

We also touched on gun control and the push to ban assault rifles.  This despite multi-year stats from the FBI that shows Rifles of all kinds to be a small percentage of homicides in this country.
